My hair tools!

What are your favorite hair tools to use?

These are my favorite hair tools to use. Right now these are the only hair tools I use, although I am trying to find a good curling iron. If anyone has any suggestions  on a curling iron let me know. So let me continue on...

The Conair translucent Turbo Styler is the only dryer I use and I love it! I have been using this same dryer for a few years now, so appearantly it's the best. It comes with 3 heats (cool, warm, and hot) and 2 speeds (low and high) also it comes with 2 attatchment pieces (pic and concentrator). I use this dryer everytime after I wash my hair. But before I start using the dryer, I use my "Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Blow Dry Perfector Straightening Balm". Sometimes I do not need to use any other hair tools, because the balm and the blow dryer straightens my hair. If I do not want to use the pic piece, I take it off and replace it with the concentrator piece and along with it I use the brush and comb, pictured down below.

I use a Ceramic Brush and a Wide Tooth Comb when blow drying my hair. First I use a wide tooth comb, because it is better to use when hair is wet. Honestly for me it's better to use either wet or dry. But when wet it is better to use this comb so my hair won't be pulled out, especially if tangled. So after I use the comb to dry my hair about 75%, I then use the ceramic brush to style my hair, if I do not feel like using the Instyler the ceramic brush is also good for me because it's an anti-frizz ceramic brush and my hair gets frizzy sometimes so I really like this brush .

The hair tool pictured below is the Instyler and it is my miracle hair tool. When I am going out and I want my hair to look really nice (not saying that I ever want my hair to be messy) I use this. When I first saw the Instyler on tv which was about 3 year ago, I knew I had to have it. I needed a hair tool that worked good, because I was tired of using my flat iron. The flat iron I had left my hair clumpy and it looked horrible. So when I got the Instyler I was so excited and it wasn't even Christmas yet! I love it because you can use it many differnt ways... all of the instructions and ways to do your hair is all in the box. If you want to try it or your thinking about check out the commercial for it. Examples of what you can do with it are: straightening your hair, curling your hair, or flip your hair. The commercial is more detailed. Before I forget it comes with a comb. Everything is pictured below.

These are the only hair tools I use right now, because I feel I do not need any other tools. If you have any questions feel free to ask, and check back for my reply!

Favorite hair products

Sunday, November 18, 2012
How many of you are picky when it comes to finding the right hair products? I know I'm very picky when it comes to this. When looking for the right hair products, I want to make sure that it's perfect for my hair and that it will actually work. It has taken me a while to find good hair products for my hair, up until now. Before I show you my favorite hair products to use right now, I will say that I had a hard time trying to decide which one was favorite the most because I love both brands. So my second favorite brand is Tresemme. Tresemme works really good, so if you all want me to talk about the brand I will post a seperate post. So anyway my #1 favorite brand is Garnier Fructis! But their is one product I use from Tresemme more than Garnier Fructis. So let me start!

For my shampoo and conditioner, I use the new "Garnier Fructis Fall Fight Fortifying Shampoo and Conditioner". Their is a 3 step process to this, but I could not find the third step in stores, but I will talk about it anyway later on. The shampoo and conditioner is great in my opinion, because of all the nutrients and vitamins. Biotin is one of the main reasons why I got this. The vitamin Biotin works great if you are tyring to grow your hair or nails, it's even great for your skin. But I am not a professional this is just my opinion and I didn't regret it!

These are the first two steps... the shampoo and conditioner. They both help falling/breaking hair. They stimulate with scalp massage and prevent breaking for fuller-looking hair. The Fall Fight formula has energizing caffeine, fortifying biotin and fruit vitamins... strengthens hair from root to ends, reducing falling, breaking strands. It says that it saves hundreds of strands per month and you will have fuller- looking stronger hair. For more information check out the website... www.garnierUSA.com

I have not had the chance to try out the third and final step which is the treament spray step. This will improve resistance to everyday hair fall out. If you want to know more go to www.garnierUSA.com
After I wash my hair, I put "Garnier Fructis Style Sleek and Shine Blow Dry Perfector Straightening Balm which includes argan oil. Its a 3 day frizz resistance: faster, easier blow dries stays smooth and shiny".
This product works great for my hair. It literally straightens my hair, so I do not always need to use a straightener or flat iron. For my hair it works wonders because I have thick hair and it is coarse. I do not know about any of you, but my hair gets frizzy a lot so this product also helps with that problem.

The last Garnier Fructis product I use is the "Extreme Control Anti- Humidity Hairspray". Between this and the blow dry balm my hair stays anti- frizz for over a 24-hr period.
With Natural Bamboo Extract this provides bounce back hold. The Bamboo is selected for its strength, suppieness, and resilience, bamboo bends but never breaks. All of these Garnier fructis products are on the website and any other products of theirs you may want to try. www.garnierUSA.com

My favorite product to use when I am using a straightener or flat iron is the "Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray". This spray is used by professionals. It styles and protects your hair. I am in love with this spray because it is sure to help your hair, it helps keep mine protected.

For more information about this product and more from their line of hair products go to www.tresemme.com

I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know what your favorite products are!

Never take what you have for granted

Friday, November 9, 2012

Appreciate all of the things you have; because somewhere out there, there is someone who has less than you or nothing at all. During Hurricane Sandy I learned a lot about life and how no one should take it for granted. I had a lot of time to think about my life and reevaluate myself, since I didn't have any power. During this time with no power I realized that I have taken advantage of it and I didn't really realize that until now.

Whether it was leaving the computer on or plugged in when I wasn't using it or maybe getting upset when I didn't have anything to watch on TV ( a lot of people may not have a TV to watch stuff). The point is everyone should be grateful for watch they because life is too short. "Life is not always greener on the other side" There are more important things in life and I understand that. I am not saying that I take or took things for granted, but I learned that there are so much more. I will admit that I took electricity for granted at times, but not anymore. I was freaking out because I didn't have power for almost two weeks, then I stopped and thought about people who don't even have a home. I appreciate life so much more and the little things that may seem so small are the things that are big and matter most.

I hope you enjoyed reading this!

A letter to dream followers Part1

Friday, October 19, 2012

Dear dream followers,
Do not let anyone tell you, you can't do something because that is not true. There are so many wonderful opportunities out there and no one should settle for less than they deserve. I see and I hear a lot of people talk about things they wanted to try or do but did not feel comfortable because they did not have support. I have felt this way before and it is not a good feeling. Sometimes we all need that boost of encouragement and support, everyone deserves to be happy and if you want to be a doctor or a nurse that is great, that is another person who wants to save lifes. If you want to become a teacher that is awesome because you are teaching our future.

I love watching Youtube videos... I know you all are probably thinking what does that have to do with anything, but I promise it all makes sense. Anytime I am watching a video and there are likes and dislikes, I am thinking what is with the dislikes. Then I realize it is ok because everyone is different, but then i scroll down to the comments and it is horrifying. In my mind I am thinking how do people come up with these comments. People are making videos because it is what they love to do and they are nice enough to share their lives with us. If you dislike it ok that is fine, but there is no need to write mean remarks that are unbelievable. It is ashame that society has come to this but it is important to know that your dreams do matter.

To be continued...

I hope you enjoyed reading! It's important to follow your dreams, so good luck in whatever you do!

Welcome to my blog!

Hello everyone! I would like to welcome you all to my blog. I decided to create a blog about me, to show all of you who I am and what I like to do. But I will also be writing inspirational messages from me to you of support and encouragement. I believe if we all encourage one another to be the best we can be, all of us could create positive change.

If anyone wants to talk about anything that is bothering them, I am here. I am also here to just talk about life. I will say that I am not an expert on life, but I am living it and I've also experienced the reality of it. Even though I am only turning 21 in about two months that is long enough to know the basics of life. I will be doing weekly blogs, about two to three days a week. I know one of those days will be on Monday. I am sure every needs some encouragement for the beginning of a work or school week, or whatever.

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peak of what's to come!
